Oman is a beautiful country, blessed with unique habitats and landscapes, ranging from pristine beaches and coral reefs and to high mountains and breathtaking desert sands. The Environment Society of Oman (ESO) is a non-governmental society which aims to help conserve Oman's natural heritage and raise awareness about environmental issues. Our aims include:
The ESO was founded in March 2004 by Omanis representing different regions and many different professional backgrounds. Membership is open to anyone above the age of 18 who has an interest in conserving the environment and ensuring that Oman's natural heritage remains intact for future generations to enjoy.
